Daniel, a respected Biblical figure, demonstrated integrity in Babylon. Despite warnings, he remained faithful to God and refused to corrupt himself (Daniel 1:8). His unshakable faith resulted in heavenly favour and elevated him above his colleagues. In the face of adversity, Christian entrepreneurs such as Daniel may maintain their integrity.
Joseph, who was sold into slavery, rose to prominence in Egypt through perseverance and God’s mercy. Despite false charges, he stood firm, declaring, “How could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” (Gen. 39:9). His sincerity brought favours and enabled him to save nations from starvation.
Christian entrepreneurs, business owners, and employees should follow Daniel and Joseph’s example by maintaining honesty in their endeavours. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). Let us strive for positivism, hard effort, and integrity, relying on God’s guidance in all situations.
