Meeting Customer Needs: Early this morning I went to do a property inspection for Valuation, I used my wife’s car and forgot to carry my measuring gadgets. So I decided to stop at some hardware to buy a measuring tape. “Do you have a 50 meters measuring tape?” I asked the shop keeper. He replied that they didn’t have any. As I was walking out another gentleman who I think is the owner or supervisor asked me whether I found what I was looking for, “I’m told you don’t have 50 meters measuring tapes”, I replied. “But we do have 100 meters measuring tapes sir, would that do?” he said (Conversation partially translated). Giving clients various options is important in business sales. I wonder how many people the shop keeper has turned away in the same way.
